External Logistics Assistant
LOCATION:Torrelavega
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage export and import transports, including follow-up of orders, pickup requests, and identifying advantageous transport options. Maintain communication with suppliers, clients, and freight forwarders.
- Prepare and control shipping and import/export documentation (B/L, AWB, CMR, DUAs, dispatch authorizations, certificates of origin, dual-use and hazardous goods declarations). Send ASNs to clients and coordinate with warehouse and 3PL.
- Support logistics for sales: calculate weights, dimensions, and transport quotations; report logistics status to the commercial department; ensure orders are delivered on confirmed dates.
- Perform monthly logistics accounting and ERP management: review invoices, create purchase requests, register transport orders in ERP (Expertis), validate invoices, track actual freight costs, and prepare overcost reports.
