In 2017 FJ | Fern\u00e1ndez Jove<\/strong> collaborated in the construction of the support vessel EDDA PASSAT, built in GONDAN Shipbuilders<\/a>, by the shipowner \u00d8STENSJ\u00d8 REDERI A\/S.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this vessel, FJ was in charge of the supply and installation of the hydraulic control system of the hatches for the containers and the machine, consisting of the hydraulic power unit, the tipping valve panels, the electrical control panels and the hydraulic operating cylinders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the vessel Edda Passat, FJ carried out the commissioning of the hydraulic system through its systems integration team, all under the highest quality standards and the technical team qualified for the function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This vessel was the first of the two twin vessels built in Spain. FJ was honoured to participate in both projects. Its main mission is to accommodate the technicians in charge of the maintenance of the wind turbines in the North Sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Edda Passat is a vessel that measures 81x 17m. Besides providing support to the wind power platforms, it is also environmentally friendly as it counts with a variable speed diesel-electric generation system, which considerably reduces the consumption and emissions of the vessel.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
