HEAD OF PRL / INDUSTRIAL SAFETY
LOCATION: Torrelavega
DEPARTMENT: PRL
FUNCTIONS
- Occupational Health and Safety Management
- Liaison with the SPA: Risk Assessment, Preventive Activity Planning, Health Surveillance Follow-up, Hygiene Measurement Follow-up…
- Accident Investigation. Follow-up of Actions.
- Operational control: monitoring in the plant (control of task execution, monitoring the use of PPE, new equipment/installations…).
- Coordination of Business Activities (both internally and in client facilities).
- People: training and information.
- Industrial Safety Management. Identification of applicable legal requirements, evaluation of compliance, monitoring of actions/external suppliers.
- Environmental/Sustainability Management (complementary function, the main functions of the post are OHS and industrial safety).
TRAINING
- Intermediate university education (Diploma, Technical Engineering...) or higher (Degree, Engineering, Bachelor's Degree...).
- Master's Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention with the 3 specialisations (Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology.
EXPERIENCE
- 2 years in an industrial environment, preferably related to metal. SPA profiles will not be ruled out as long as the client portfolio includes companies in the metal sector.
HARD SKILLS (SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE POST)
MINIMUM TRAINING REQUIRED
- English B2-C1
- Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint) –
- Another language is desirable.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE: 1-2 YEARS
SOFT SKILLS (PERSONAL SKILLS)
- Rigour at work, social skills, friendliness, initiative, organised, attention to detail, responsible and consistent in the work to be done.
- Ability to learn quickly.
