The PRIOR®-based pneumatic remote control solution is designed for installations with pneumatic actuators that prioritise architectural simplicity, rapid response times and ease of integration. It is a suitable option when a project requires a responsive drive solution, with consistent control logic and efficient implementation.
A simple, quick and lightweight architectural solution
Valve systems with pneumatic actuators are notable for their simplicity and their ability to perform rapid operations. PRIOR® allows this type of system to be integrated within a single control platform, maintaining monitoring of valve positions, statuses and alarms without adding unnecessary complexity to the system. Optionally, the solution can incorporate air accumulators or other backup elements to enhance availability in accordance with the operating conditions defined in the project.
Two architectures possible depending on the layout of solenoid valves
Depending on the position of the solenoid valves, the solution can be configured in two ways.
In one system, the solenoid valves are installed on the control panel. In the other type, they are installed directly on the actuators and the compressed air is distributed from a common manifold.
This flexibility allows the solution to be adapted to the layout of the installation and to the logic of operation required.
What does PRIOR® offer in a pneumatic solution
PRIOR® not only enables remote operation, but also centralises system data and facilitates operation from dedicated control stations. The system can operate independently or as part of a wider control architecture, providing access to status information, alarms and signals relevant to operations.
