Onboard Commissioning Services
Technical integration and validation under real operating conditions
Ensuring optimal performance of every installed system
In those supplies that include control or monitoring systems, FJ offers specialized services of integral commissioning. Our goal is to ensure that each installed system operates according to the technical and operational standards defined in the project.
Our highly qualified engineering team supports shipyards and shipowners during the key project phases, ensuring a smooth transition from installation to full operational readiness. The objective is to minimize unforeseen issues, optimize timelines and ensure that system integration complies with the agreed technical specification.
Specialists in remote control and automation systems
FJ has extensive experience commissioning Remote Valve Control Systems (RVCS), quick closing valve systems and control and pressure systems for hydraulic equipment.
Our involvement ensures that system configuration, operational logic and integration with other onboard systems are thoroughly verified.
All commissioning activities consider both local and remote operation modes, ensuring consistency across all control and monitoring levels.
Scope of commissioning services
During the commissioning process, complete functional tests of the equipment are carried out, verifying its behavior both in local and remote operation. Comprehensive testing of the control cabinets and system logic is carried out, ensuring that all parameters and operating sequences respond correctly.
We also manage the technical handover process to the shipyard, ensuring that the documentation and system status are in accordance with the project requirements. When requested by the customer, we also offer assistance during HAT testing with the end customer as an optional service.

Installation prerequisites
To ensure an efficient commissioning process, installation works must be completed strictly in accordance with the relevant technical manuals.
The verification of this compliance is carried out by means of the mandatory “Pre-Commissioning Checklist”, which must be checked and certified by the customer before the start of commissioning activities. This step is key to ensure that the system is ready for final validation.
