The PRIOR®-based electric remote control solution is designed for valve systems with electric actuators that require precision, continuous monitoring and integration with the overall control architecture.

This option is particularly well suited to naval and industrial facilities that require advanced automation, access to status data and a range of communication configurations.

A solution designed for automation, diagnostics and operational continuity

Systems featuring electric actuators have gained prominence due to advancements in actuator controls, modern communication protocols, lower installation costs and high positioning accuracy. Building on this, PRIOR® enables the management and automation of electric valve systems in various configurations, tailoring the architecture to the specific requirements of each project. In addition to remote control, modern electric actuators provide a wealth of information to the control system, facilitating access to status, maintenance, alarm and diagnostic data.

System configuration based on the project architecture

PRIOR® can work with various architectures of communication for electrically actuated valves.

Supports configurations point-to-point, in line, in ring and in ring with redundant control, which allows selection of the topology most suitable according to the number of valves, the protocol for communication and the level of availability required.

It can communicate with the valves via parallel control, Modbus RTU, Profinet and other industrial protocols, adapting to the type of actuator and to the architecture of automation system.

What does PRIOR® offer in an electrical solution

PRIOR® can operate independently or as part of a wider control architecture, enabling remote control, status monitoring, alarms and events, and communication via serial or Ethernet. It also includes control stations, user management, diagnostic tools and maintenance information that are useful during operation, testing and commissioning.
