Quick closing valves

Immediate safety for critical onboard systems

An essential component
on any naval platform

The Saval Quick Shut-Off Valve is designed to guarantee instant fluid isolation in emergency situations, protecting the integrity of the vessel, its crew and operational continuity. Its technical conception is aligned with the most demanding standards of modern marinas and offshore environments.

Quick closing valves are a mandatory element to ensure the immediate stoppage of the flow of fuels, oils and critical fluids in case of risk situations such as fire, leakage or system failure. Saval valves allow immediate closure, either manually or remotely, minimizing operational risk and contributing to the overall safety of the vessel.

Why choose Saval quick closing valves

Shock test

The SAVAL® Quick Release Valve has been developed to operate under extreme conditions of vibration, shock and acceleration, according to the usual requirements of military naval platforms (MIL-STD-901).

Its design guarantees stability and reliability in mission-critical architectures, ensuring secure behavior even after severe events.

Approval by SSCC

The valve has types approved by Bureau Veritas (BV) and Lloyd’s Register (LR), which guarantees its conformity with the international standards required in naval, merchant and offshore installations.

These approvals ensure that the product meets the technical and regulatory requirements for both new construction projects and fleet modernization or upgrades.

Reliable and fail safe design

The valve is designed to ensure closure even in situations of electrical failure or loss of pressure, always prioritizing the safe position of the system.

This failsafe behavior is essential in critical applications, as it ensures a predictable response to any incident, protecting the integrity of the vessel and the safety of its crew.

Full integration

The SAVAL® Valve is designed to integrate natively with the fast closing systems developed by FJ, including PRIOR® control platforms.

This compatibility allows local or remote control, supervision from PRIOR cabinets and adaptation to pneumatic, hydraulic or mechanical architectures, facilitating modernization processes without the need to redesign existing piping or supports.

Supply, documentation and support

Each SAVAL® Quick Release Valve is supplied with the necessary documentation and technical support to guarantee a safe integration according to the project requirements.

The supply can include complete ILS documentation, configuration of the performance according to the specific architecture of the vessel, installation, operation and maintenance manual, as well as certificates of materials, traceability and tests performed.

In addition, FJ offers technical support for proper integration into FJ systems and PRIOR® control platforms, as well as assistance during commissioning when required by the customer. This support facilitates installation, reduces risks in the start-up phase and ensures technical consistency from the very beginning.
