The first edition of the World Defence Show 2022 took place in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) from 6 to 9 March. A global event where the latest technological latest technological developments in defence.
Fernandez Jove was present as an exhibitor at this major defence exhibition along with the other Spanish companies that make up the Spanish-Saudi Maritime Hub. Interesting fair in which all attendees were able to learn from the hands of the main industry leaders the value of true interoperability between systems and where the future of defence is heading. The meetings held with the Saudi industry have been very satisfactory and are expected to be fruitful in the short and medium term. During the fair, we had the honour of attending, along with the rest of the companies that make up the Hispano-Saudi Hub, the reception offered by the Spanish Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Jorge Hevia, which was also attended by the Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism, Reyes Maroto; the Secretary of State for Defence, Esperanza Casteleiro, as well as the Director General of Armaments and Material (DIGAM), Admiral Aniceto Rosique. Maritime Hub Hispano-Saudi is a non-profit association composed of a large business core whose objective is to promote trade relations between Spain and Saudi Arabia, acting as a platform of interlocutor and stimulus between the two countries, in order to facilitate trade relations, creating synergies, knowledge and value, oriented towards technology transfer and talent generation.

The Hispanic Hub currently has 25 associated companies, among them are those that make up the Board of Directors: Ghenova in the presidency (Francisco Cuervas), Pine Instalaciones y montajes in the vice-presidency (Santiago Crespo), Fernandez Jove Group in the secretary (Tony Fernandez Jove), Frizonia in the Treasury (Javier Gamundi) and Surcontrol in the vocalía (Jesús Rodriguez) Fernandez Jove Group thanks the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism and the Embassy of Spain in Riyadh for the support given to the Spanish defence industry during these days.
